AceShowbiz - "Stranger Things" season 2 is set to premiere in just a few weeks. To further increase the hype, the hit Netflix show has released a slew of awesome posters featuring its characters of the upcoming sophomore season.

The first 3 posters feature Will (Noah Schnapp), Mike (Finn Wolfhard) and Joyce (Winona Ryder). The trio can be seen looking up at something terrifying. "It only gets stranger..." is written across the images.

Posted in separate tweet are posters for Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Jim Hopper (David Harbour). Dustin is seen having a mic on him, while Lucas is looking equally terrified as he holds a walkie talkie in one of his hands.

New cast members Dacre Montgomery and Sadie Sink, who will play Billy and his sister Max, are also featured in the new characters posters, which are set to a red-and-purple tone. Returning character Eleven, played by Emmy-winning actress Millie Bobby Brown, meanwhile, is seen frowning in her poster.

The last set of posters feature Nancy (Natalia Dyer), Steve (Joe Kerry) and Jonathan (Charlie Heaton). Showing off his love for photography, Jonathan is seen holding his iconic Pentax camera while stealing a glance at his right side.

Caleb also takes to his Twitter account to share a short video of his character Lucas. Accompanied by a creepy music, Lucas appears to be nervously waiting for someone across his walkie talkie, before an eerie sound of fox howling is heard at the end of video.

Along with the posters, Netflix has unveiled a new trailer. Framed as "a message from President Ronald Reagan," the clip offers an audio from one of his speeches which plays over scenes from the upcoming season. The trailer, which is set to a daunting score, concludes with the president saying, "Those who say that we're in a time when there are no heroes, they just don't know where to look."

"Stranger Things" season 2 premieres on Friday, October 27 on Netflix.
