Olivier winners Jamie Parker, Noma Dumezweni and Anthony Boyle are back as Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Scorpius Malfoy, respectively. Paul Thornley returns as Ron Weasley, Poppy Miller is back as Ginny Potter, Sam Clemmett once again portrays Albus Potter, and Alex Price is reprising his role as Draco Malfoy.

"Cursed Child" is based on a story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and director John Tiffany ("Once", "The Glass Menagerie"), with a script provided by Thorne. Picking up some 20 years after the events of the novels, it centers on a threat from the past that both the adults, now members of the Ministry of Magic, and their children at Hogwarts have to face.

Sonia Friedman Productions, Colin Callender and Harry Potter Theatrical Productions produce "Cursed Child" on Broadway, which will open at the Lyric Theater on April 22, 2018. Tickets will go on sale October 12 via Ticketmaster Verified Fan, following a registration period set for October 1-5.
