The 'Toxic' singer reportedly will come up with a new concept for the 2018 residency, which will be held 'at rival hotel.'

AceShowbiz - Yay! 2017 may not be Britney Spears's last year to perform on her "Piece of Me" Las Vegas Residency, and we are more than thrilled. Rumor has it, the 35-year-old songstress will continue the residency next year, but with an entirely new show at a different venue.

The Las Vegas Review Journal's Robin Leech has taken to his Twitter account to share the news with fans. "Racy rumors indicate Britney Spears will remain performing in Vegas after Dec31 final shows at Planet Hollywood but expected at rival hotel," he writes.

As previously reported, the residency will be coming to an end in December, as the pop diva's contract with Caesar's Entertainment ends that month. "Piece of Me" opened in December 2013. Britney then extended her contract in 2015 with Planet Hollywood to run the show until 2017.

Britney's manager, Larry Rudolph, previously said, "Anything is possible. We have made zero decisions. We expect a lot of interests from all parties. Britney basically sells out every show, and she loves Las Vegas, she loves performing in Vegas, and Vegas is a possibility going forward."

The "...Baby One More Time" hitmaker just wrapped up her world tour and is currently gearing up for the residency. "Piece of Me" will kick off on September 3 and run through December 31 at Planet Hollywood.
