TV

While it's light on plot details, the trailer teases the aftermath of the massacre at the end of the first season.

AceShowbiz - "Westworld" won't return until 2018, but a first look at the second season was shared at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, July 22. HBO released a trailer which features a lot of bloody and violent scenes, oddly set to the calming tune of Sammy Davis Jr.'s "I've Gotta Be Me".

The trailer picks up in the aftermath of the massacre that occurred in the first season finale, with Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) and a man who looks like Teddy (James Marsden) riding their horses and gunning down park guests.

Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) ponders as he stands beside a river next to a dead tiger. In another scene, he rides a jeep and joins Westworld security on what appears to be a host-hunting mission. There's also a shot of the Man in Black (Ed Harris), who is bloodied but alive after taking a gunshot in the season 1 finale.

During the panel at Hall H, creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy revealed that various media, including "Grand Theft Auto" and "Red Dead Redemption", influenced the feel of the show. Fans were also treated to a season 1 blooper reel.
