Just a few days shy of "Game of Thrones" season 7 premiere, HBO hypes up the anticipation by releasing some photos of the first episode. While some of them look similar to the previously released pictures, there are a few which give a new look at the upcoming season.
For instance, there's a picture featuring Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie) who is sparring with Podrick Payn (Daniel Portman) at Winterfell. Dolorous Edd (Ben Crompton) and other Night's Watchmen are holding a torch in another snap, as Meera Reed (Ellie Kendrick) meets some of them in another image.
Titled "Dragonstone", the first episode of the seventh season will air Sunday, July 16 at 9 P.M. on HBO. According to the official synopsis, "Jon (Kit Harington) organizes the defense of the North. Cersei (Lena Headey) tries to even the odds. Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) comes home."
In other news, Twitter has released the list of the Top 10 trends of 2016 on the site. "Game of Thrones" is the only TV show to make the list, making it the most tweeted about TV show last year. The hit medieval drama series is on track to win again in 2017, with 13.8 million tweets about the show so far this year.
