'Bachelorette' Recap: Rachel Picks Final Four, Adam and Matt Have Zero Chance
TV

It's not surprising that by the end of the episode Rachel Lindsay decides to eliminate Adam and Matt since she barely spent time with these two men.

AceShowbiz - Rachel Lindsay narrowed it down to four in the newest episode of "The Bachelorette" before the hometown dates. The 32-year-old attorney from Dallas, Texas, eliminated more guys before taking the remaining four to hometown dates.

There wouldn't be a rose ceremony. Instead, Rachel would have three one-on-one dates and a group date in Geneva, Switzerland with the remaining six men, Peter, Bryan, Dean, Eric, Adam and Matt. Two of them, Adam and Matt, never had a one-on-one date yet so their hopes were high, but would they get their chance to get closer to Rachel?

Bryan got the first one-on-one date. They drove around the town in a Bentley, bought matching watches and went on a romantic boat ride. In the evening portion of the date, they had dinner during which they talked about their last relationships. Bryan said it was very passionate, moved very quickly, but she was breaking up with him after meeting his family because she couldn't compromise with his mother.

Bryan admitted he was scared that it would happen again after Rachel meets his family. Despite the fear, Rachel gave Bryan the date rose. They kissed as a string quartet started playing from the balconies.

Next, Rachel took Dean to Catholic mass for their one-on-one date. Dean tried to avoid talking about his family, but at dinner he couldn't avoid it anymore. He admitted, "My family is not going to be the family that you want to see." He revealed that after his mother died, his father never stepped up emotionally. "He's become quite a bit more eccentric," Dean said of his father.

Dean was afraid that Rachel would judge their future family by his present one. Nevertheless, Rachel still wanted to see his family as she gave him the date rose.

The third and final one-on-one date of the week went to Peter. They enjoyed the view of the Swips Alps from helicopter and then went dog sledding. Peter admitted the journey had been tough and he once considered leaving the show, but he's glad that he never went home.

At dinner, Peter was crying when talking about how he abandoned his ex in the street when they broke up and it took a long time for him to open up again. He admitted he wasn't 100 percent ready to get engaged, but he was "on the path" there. It was apparently enough to assure Rachel about what they have as she gave him the rose.

Later it was time for the group date with Eric, Matt and Adam. Rachel took the three guys to France. After popping some champagne, Rachel had some alone time with Eric. He praised her for how she's handled the entire situation and told her that she deserved happiness no matter what.

When she spoke to Matt, she broke down crying as he began talking about hope for a future of them. Rachel told Matt he reminded her of herself, but she felt stronger connections with other men, so she sent him home.

At dinner, Adam said he's falling for her and that his family would love her. But when Rachel asked him which part of him was falling in love with her, he began talking nonsense.

Rachel talked to Eric again and he opened up about growing up surrounded by people with histories of abuse, drugs and violence. He also revealed that he never brought a girl home before. That didn't scare Rachel though, as she picked Eric over Adam. Rachel claimed it was her "hardest decision thus far" to send Adam home.
