In the midst of their dating rumors, an eyewitness revealed that the two were spotted in different places that were located less than a mile away.
The eyewitness told E! News that Katie, who went casual in a boho-chic blouse, loose-fitting shorts and sandals, was seen holding a cell phone when she exited her vehicle in a parking garage at the Century City Mall. And at the same time, Jamie was pictured outside the Century Plaza Hotel, chatting on the phone.
The eyewitness shared that the "Baby Driver" actor, who also kept it casual in a navy blue sweatsuit and matching pants, was seemingly waiting to be picked up or meet someone as he stood with luggage by his feet.
Despite continuously denying their dating rumors, Jamie and Katie have been spotted conspicuously close to each other a lot. Just last month, the rumored couple even met up in Paris for a "romantic" getaway, with some photos of them leaving the same hotel and boarding the same private jet that surfaced online more than a week later as the evidence.
A source told E! News that at the time, "Jamie wrapped filming on 'Robin Hood: Origins' and Katie flew in to Paris to meet him for a few days." The source claimed that "Tom Cruise was filming 'Mission: Impossible 6' only a few blocks away, but Katie and Jamie stayed inside their hotel...and didn't leave."
The rumored couple allegedly went to great lengths to ensure privacy, with the insider explaining, "Jamie had a big smile on his face as they returned to their hotel and snuck in through a private entrance. They were very discreet and made sure to always enter and exit the hotel and the car separately."
