Ellen DeGeneres was spotted on a lunch date with a mystery brunette woman on Thursday, June 1 amid her alleged stormy marriage with Portia de Rossi. Further fueling the rumors, Portia was nowhere to be seen during the outing.
In photos obtained by Radar Online, Ellen looked casual in a blue T-shirt and jeans. She looked happy and all carefree during the date as they were heading to vegan restaurant Crossroads in West Hollywood.
The 59-year-old host was all smiles as she had her mystery date walking beside her. Her date, meanwhile, donned a black long dress which she paired with matching boots. The long-haired woman could be seen carrying a jean jacket.
Ellen and Portia's marriage reportedly hit a huge crisis in recent months. The two were allegedly caught bickering during dinner at Madeo restaurant in Beverly Hills, California back in April. "It seemed like they were fighting," said an eyewitness, who saw them speeding away from the Italian restaurant. "Portia kept trying to talk to Ellen, but Ellen wouldn't even look at her as she screeched out of the parking lot," the insider added.
