Now you can cross out one name from the list of potential fathers of Rory's baby. While the identity of the father was left a mystery in the end of "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life", Milo Ventimiglia has assured fans that his character didn't get Rory pregnant.
During a panel discussion for "Gotham" at the Heroes & Villains Fan Fest in London, the "This Is Us" star was asked about a potential return for another installment of "Gilmore Girls". He coyly responded, "It was a great time. Jess was a fun character, but I always remind people that it was 16 years ago in the past. I'm very happy that the fans and the audience got those last four episodes. They should be happy with that."
While his previous statement was vague, he dropped a major bombshell as he revealed whether or not Jess was the father of Rory's baby. "Just so you know, it's not Jess' kid," he told the audience at the panel.
There have been many speculations about who could be Rory's baby daddy is, but only series creators creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino who know the answer. "I think a lot of clues are out there. I know with the time passage it wasn't 100 percent clear, but we also didn't have her engage with who she thought was the father," Daniel once said to E! News.
