The hip-hop/pop group's member Taboo has slammed the 'M.I.L.F $' hitmaker on Twitter, spurring speculations that she was 'kicked out' of the band.

It looks like Stacy Ferguson a.k.a. Fergie has officially parted ways with Black Eyed Peas. On the heels of her record deal with BMG, her former bandmate Taboo unfollowed her on Twitter and threw a major shade at her by posting the artwork of BEP's debut album before Fergie joined the group which featured him, will.i.am and apl.de.ap, and referred to it as "Classic BEP."

Although Taboo hinted that he was far from happy with Fergie's departure from the band, a source told HollywoodLife.com that the "Fergalicious" singer was on good terms with her former bandmates. "Fergie and the [Black Eyed Peas] have parted ways," the source claimed. "She wasn't 'kicked out.' It was more a case of they had run their course together and were experiencing creative differences."

The source further asserted that the 42-year-old singer didn't entirely enjoy being a part of a group, so she wanted to focus more on her solo career. "Fergie has been focusing on her solo career a lot, and she wants to head in a different direction music-wise, so it was time to move on," the source explained. "Plus, she doesn't want to be part of a band anymore, there are a lot of egos at play here, let's just leave it at that. It was actually Fergie's decision to leave, and the guys weren't too happy about it initially, but they're cool now and just looking forwards to the future."

In addition, another source claimed that BEP has started to think about breaking up since Super Bowl in January, when Fergie performed solo during the ESPN party in Houston, Texas. Fergie is currently gearing up for the release of her second album "Double Dutchess" which is set to arrive later this year.
