Good news, Katy Perry's fans! New music from the pop star is on the way. After a mysterious image of an eye appeared on Times Square Billboard over the weekend, Perry confirmed that the ad was hers by posting the exact same image on her social media accounts. Along with the image, Perry shared a preview of new music and its release date.

In the preview, Perry's voice can be heard, singing over the '90s dance beats, "Can I get a witness/ Will you be my witness/ I'm just looking for a witness in all of this/ Looking for a witness to get me through this." The cut seems to be take from the hook of the song which is believed to be titled "Witness". The new song will arrive on Monday, May 15.

Fans are still wondering, though, whether "Witness" is only the title of the new single or also the upcoming album title. Prior to this, Perry has hinted a couple of times about "Witness", including with her unique ensemble at Met Gala on which "Witness" embroidered on the veil.

Fans soon flooded the comment section of the post. "What is it. New song for today or the cover of kp4," a fan wondered, while another expressed her excitement, writing, "Witness! Is coming omg finally I'm waiting this single! ILU Katy Kat." Another fan gushed, "Can't wait. Literally shocked and in tears."
