After a couple of director changes, "The Flash" movie is now reportedly zeroing in on Robert Zemeckis as a director. According to Screen Junkies, the "Back to the Future" helmer has entered talks to sit behind the lens for the upcoming solo movie of the DC Speedster.

Rick Famuyiwa was previously attached to helm the project. He replaced Seth Grahame-Smith but eventually dropped out due to creative differences. He said, "I pitched a version of the film in line with my voice, humor and heart." However, his vision "clashed with the studio's take."

Ezra Miller plays the titular role for the film. He made a brief appearance in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Suicide Squad". He will next get a larger role in "Justice League" before embarking on a solo adventure in a standalone movie which is due 2018.
