Shania Twain is getting ready to make her comeback. The 51-year-old songstress announced that her new album would arrive in September, while the lead single titled "Life's About to Get Good' would be out in June. She made the special announcement on Monday, April 24 when she became "The Voice" fifth judge and key adviser.

Regarding the inspiration behind "Life's About to Get Good", Shania said in a statement, "I was at home looking out at the ocean and I said to myself, 'Here I am stuck in this past of negativity, but it's so beautiful out.' " She added, "I'm not in the mood to write a 'feeling-sorry-for-myself' song... You can't have the good without the bad. And that's what the song ended up being about."

The diva's latest album is chart-topping 2002's "Up!", so the upcoming project would be her first album in fifteen years. "It's been a lot of hard work, but the most fun hard work I've ever done. I've had to learn a lot about independence on this album," she previously said of the upcoming album.

She further explained, "I wrote all the songs, so there's a continuity there, I think, emotionally. There might be more variety on this album than on any [of my] other albums. There will be some surprises on there. I think there are a couple of things on there that are more classic me from the past. It's relatable."
