The 35-year-old tennis champion has taken to Instagram to share a photo of her lounging in a swimsuit along with the note in which she says her baby has given her 'strength I didn't know I had.'

AceShowbiz - Serena Williams is currently enjoying her pregnancy. Just days after revealing that she's 20 weeks pregnant with a child to her fiance Alexis Ohanian, the 35-year-old tennis champion posted on Instagram a photo of her flaunting her growing baby bump along with a moving love note to her unborn bundle of joy.

"My Dearest Baby, You gave me the strength I didn't know I had," so she captioned the picture of herself lounging in a swimsuit. "You taught me the true meaning of serenity and peace. I can't wait to meet you." She then gave a clue that she would return to tennis following the birth of her child. "I can't wait for you to join the players box next year," she added.

Williams also shared her happiness after reclaiming her No. 1 spot in the WTA rankings, writing, "But most importantly, I am so happy to share being number one in the world with you... once again today." She closed the love note with a shout out to Ohanian, who turned 33 on Monday, April 24. "On @alexisohanian bday. from the world's oldest number one to the world's youngest number one. - Your Mommy," she wrote.

Later on that day, Williams shared on social media a note in response to former tennis star Ilie Nastase's racist remarks about her pregnancy. Of William's unborn child, Nastase reportedly said, "Let's see what color it has. Chocolate with milk?" The Australian Open winner then responded, "It disappoints me to know that we live in a society where people like Ilie Nastase can make such racist comments towards myself and unborn child, and sexist comments against my peer."

Williams even borrowed some words from Maya Angelou's poem "Still I Rise" in her response. "Does my sassiness upset you? Why are you beset with gloom?" she continued. "You may shoot me with your words...you may kill me with your hatefulness, But still, like air, I'll rise." Nastase is currently under investigation for her racist comments, and she could face disciplinary action from the International Tennis Federation.
