Should the deal be closed, Teller will share screen with Woodley again after teaming up with her in 'The Spectacular Now' and 'Divergent' movie series.

After teaming up with Shailene Woodley in "The Spectacular Now" and "Divergent" movie series, Miles Teller may reunite with the 25-year-old actress in upcoming STX survival thriller "Adrift (2018)". Should the deal be closed, Teller and Woodley will share screen as couple.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Adrift" is based on the true story of a woman and her fiance who sail to Tahiti for a trip, but a massive storm ruins the boat and leaves the woman alone at sea. The movie later will follow the woman's "attempts to save herself and the man she loves on a 1,500-mile journey to Hawaii."
"Everest (2015)" director Baltasar Kormakur is attached to direct the project. "Moana" writers Aaron and Jordan Kendell are set to produce and pen the script. The movie is planned to start filming in summer.
Besides "The Spectacular Now" and "Divergent" movie series, Teller's other movie credits include "War Dogs", "Fantastic Four" and "Whiplash". His upcoming movies include a true-life firefighting drama "Granite Mountain", animated movie "The Ark and the Aardvark" and drama "Thank You for Your Service". He will also star on Amazon's TV series "Too Old to Die Young".
Meanwhile, Woodley is best known for her role as Tris in "Divergent", "The Divergent Series: Insurgent" and "The Divergent Series: Allegiant". Recently, she portrayed Jane Chapman on HBO's "Big Little Lies". Woodley's other movie credits include "The Fault in Our Stars", "Snowden" and "The Descendants".
