Halle Berry's photo that she shared on her Instagram and Twitter accounts on March 31 recently got photoshopped into a fake nude photo then published online by website Celeb Jihad last Sunday. The photo was edited to make it seem like her breasts were exposed.
In the photo, Berry wore a flowered-patterned sheer top that covered her body, except for the cleavage area. It was a bit revealing, but her breasts were perfectly covered. She had her arms open and her lips curved into a smile, giving a happy and relaxed vibe. She also captioned it with a funny message that read, "Me when someone says, 'I'm coming over and I've got snacks.' "
Despite the little exposure, the post was totally innocent. Her fans responded in a funny way as well while still complementing her beauty. One fan on Instagram commented, "You continue to amaze me with you beauty." Another commented, "Ok, now. Coming over with snacks." The responses on Twitter were also funny and positive, with the majority saying things like, "I'm on my way with loads of snacks" and "I got snacks!" They also added funny GIFs that represent themselves "coming over" to Berry.
However, Celeb Jihad took the photo and edited it, manipulating the gown to look more sheer and also creating fake nipples. They later posted the fake photo with a headline that said, "Halle Berry Shows Her Tits In a See-Through Dress". It was obvious that the photo they published was fake since the original photo is still available on Berry's social media accounts, but it still stirred quite a controversy.
It's currently unclear whether Berry will take legal action or not, but actress Amanda Seyfried recently became a victim of the same website. On March 15, her intimate photos with ex-boyfriend Justin Long were leaked. The "Mamma Mia!" star immediately sent her reps to ask Celeb Jihad to take the photos down.
Berry's upcoming movie is "Kingsman: The Golden Circle" that will be released on September 29 in the U.S.
