Nick's ex accepts Chris Harrison's offer to be on the spin-off show, while Nick and his fiancee talk about getting through tough times after getting engaged in the finale.

AceShowbiz - Nick Viall, his new fiancee and his runner-up showed up in "The Bachelor: After the Final Rose" after the season 21 finale which aired on Monday, March 13. As we have known, [SPOILER ALERT!] Nick proposed to Vanessa and dumped Raven. Nick met his ex again in the special.

Saying he could "empathize" with getting rejected at the end, Nick said it "broke my heart" to say goodbye to Raven. Raven herself admitted she was "very confident" that she "was going to get engaged that day," but she's happy for Nick. "I want the world for you... I'm happy you found your happy ending and were not rejected," she said.

Raven told host Chris Harrison she's "always looking for love," so he offered her to join "Bachelor in Paradise" which is happening this summer in Mexico. Raven accepted the offer and that's how she got cast on the spin-off show.

Next, it was time for Vanessa to talk about her life after the engagement. She admitted being separated from Nick because they live in different countries has been "difficult," but she said, "I love him." She also revealed they had had some tough times already, but they're "getting stronger as the days go on."

Joining Vanessa onstage, Nick said they "still have a long way to go" as they get to know each other. Asked by Chris if they were getting married, Vanessa answered, "We're taking baby steps... trying to figure things out," but they were "optimistic." At least one problem will be solved soon as Vanessa said she's relocating to the U.S. She's also supportive of Nick who will begin his stint on "Dancing with the Stars" next week.

Another Nick ex, Rachel Lindsay, took part in the special, meeting some of her suitors. Yes, "The Bachelorette" began right then, much to Rachel's surprise. One man named DeMarcus brought an engagement ring and two tickets to Las Vegas. Another guy, Blake, was so nervous that he forgot to say his name until Rachel asked him. Dean declared, "I'm ready to go black, and I'm never going to go back." Eric said he's "looking forward" to getting to know Rachel.
