The Count Olaf depicter gets the V.F.D. symbol inked on his ankle bone as Netflix picks up the black comedy-drama series for a second season.

The Baudelaires' series of unfortunate events is far from over. Their misery at the hands of Count Olaf will continue as Netflix has picked up "A Series of Unfortunate Events" for a second season, following a favorable reception of season 1.
The streaming service announces the renewal with "A Miserable Message" video that contains hidden link to a website with a letter from Lemony Snicket, the author of the children's books which the show is based on. He writes, "It has come to my attention that, despite my repeated warnings, you have viewed the Netflix adaptation of my distressing work, collectively known as 'A Series of Unfortunate Events'."
"To my horror, Netflix has been encouraged by this, and funneled their ill-gotten gains toward a second season of this unhappy and unnerving series," he adds. "I hope you're happy. Because you won't be, ever again."

To celebrate the renewal, Neil Patrick Harris who plays Olaf has just got his first tattoo ever. He shows on Instagram the fresh ink of a "scamp stamp" of the Volunteer Fire Department (V.F.D.) insignia on his ankle.
"We got picked up for Season 2 of A Series of Unfortunate Events. I got this to celebrate. #firsttattoo #anklebone #oof #olaf #scampstamp," he writes on the post. The V.F.D. is the secret society which the Baudelaire siblings, Violet, Klaus and Sunny, are members of.
No premiere date is set for the second season just yet. The first season was released on Netflix on January 13.
