The prologue has a reference to the original 'Alien', in which a spacecraft crew members are having their last meal before being put into hibernation.

A special sneak peak of "Alien: Covenant" was aired during TV show "Legion" on FX on Wednesday, February 22. 20th Century Fox has also released the video titled "Prologue: The Last Supper" online.
The clip features the upcoming movie's prologue, which has an allusion to the original "Alien" in 1979. It features Covenant crew members gathering for their final meal before they're put into cryosleep. James Franco's Captain Branson appears in the first part of the video wearing a blanket, suggesting that he is not well. Michael Fassbender's Walter gives some medical advice to Katherine Waterston's Daniels.
Branson later leaves the crew to have a rest. The crew is delighted and soon starting a party. In the middle of their chatter, a woman appears to choke on something and causes everyone to get panic. But then Walter slaps her back to cure her and everything returns to normal. The scene is seemingly foreshadowing the series of terrifying incidents caused by Xenomorphs afterward.
"Alien: Covenant" is helmed by Ridley Scott and follows the story of colony ship Covenant which travels to a planet faraway. The crew think they will discover an uncharted paradise in that planet, but they find dark and dangerous world instead. The science fiction horror film is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on May 19. Also starring in "Alien: Covenant" are Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demian Bichir and Carmen Ejogo. Noomi Rapace will reprise her role as Dr. Elizabeth Shaw from "Prometheus".
