Kim Kardashian wants to show Kanye West how it should be done when it comes to launching a fashion line. Following lackluster reviews to her hubby's Yeezy Season 5 fashion show in New York, the 36-year-old reality star is ready to launch her own fashion line.
Despite Kanye's NYFW flop, Kim allegedly thinks it all went well, thanks to her direction. "Kim was basically forced to do the entire show herself. She knew that if she did not step in and do something, that it was going to bomb completely! And after realizing that she could, she now wants to launch her own label," an insider tells Radar Online.
According to the insider, Kanye was "completely stressed out" over the show in previous weeks and Kim "told her family that they should stay home in L.A. because she did not need Kanye to be more freaked out than he already was."
Kanye's Yeezy Season 5 fashion show on Wednesday, February 15 featured a catwalk presentation with clothing that lived up to the "Calabasas-themed" collection. However, critics were not satisfied with the show as the models hit the runway a full 30 minutes late for the show that only lasted 13 minutes.
"Homeless people look I suppose," wrote one commenter on the Highsnobiety Facebook live stream. Another commenter posted, "Seriously tho? This s**t wack as h**l. Who wanna look like a broke a** middle school kid wearin hand me downs."
