Chris Harrison visits 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' to reveal the star of 'The Bachelorette' season 13 only to annoy Jimmy Kimmel with his dramatic manner.

AceShowbiz - As reported before, the new Bachelorette was officially announced on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Monday night, February 13. "The Bachelor" host Chris Harrison came to the show to join Jimmy Kimmel to deliver the "dramatic announcement," but the comedian grew impatient because Chris kept dragging it out.
Jimmy was finally left to do the task alone and welcoming the new Bachelorette, Rachel Lindsay, to his show. "I take it your hometown date with Nick did not go as planned?" Jimmy pointed out what Rachel's casting meant. "This is a bit of a spoiler, 'cause you're still on the show."
Rachel admitted, "Yes, it is. But we're a couple weeks out from filming, we're ready to get this started, I'm ready to find love, find a husband, so if you know anybody out there who needs to apply, sign up, go ahead and get started."
The 31-year-old attorney from Dallas, Texas said, "I honestly thought they were just doing it to make me feel better from the heartbreak" when she was first approached for "The Bachelorette". But now, she's "excited" and "ready" for this new journey.
Asked what she's looking for in a man, she said, "At this point in my life, 31, I'm ready to find a husband, somebody who's ready to start a family." She added, "I'm looking for someone who can make me laugh, a great smile..."
Responding to Rachel's casting, the previous Bachelorette, JoJo Fletcher, told E! News at 102.7 KIISFM's Pick Your Purse Party at The Bungalow Huntington Beach, "I thought there was no other choice but Rachel and she's a Dallas girl, so we're going to keep that trend rolling."
Becca, who competed on Chris Soules and Ben Higgins' seasons of "The Bachelor", agreed as she said, "I don't think from Nick's season there was anyone else that I thought it would be." JoJo also praised Rachel, "I just love that she's a good age. She's very smart. She handles herself well. She's super confident and it's nice that they are mixing it up, so props to them."
