Kristen Bell's wedding to Dax Shepard is one of the best things that have happened in her life. In case you doubt it, the actress let her fans know how emotional she got on her big day via an old photo she shared on Instagram Thursday, January 26 as part of #TBT.
In the black-and-white snap, taken during the small ceremony, Bell could be seen crying while her husband laughed in front of her face. "#tbt to when I cried at our wedding and @daxshepard thought it was really funny," she captioned it.
Bell and Shepard waited until gay marriage was legalized in the state of California before they got married in the Beverly Hills courthouse in 2013. But first pictures from the wedding didn't arrive until a few months ago, when she was making an appearance on CBS' "Sunday Morning".
According to the images, Bell wore a simple black top and pants of the same color on the day she exchanged vows with the actor, who opted for a black suit and a matching bow tie. Speaking to the show's host, she said, "We got married in a tiny room in the Beverly Hills courthouse and it was still one of the best days of my life."
The adorable pair are now parents to two daughters, 3-year-old Lincoln and 2-year-old Delta.
