2016 might be a controversial yet difficult year for Kanye West, but he wants to start 2017 with some good news for his loyal fans. A source close to the rapper told E! News that Kanye has some surprise projects in the works.

According to the source, 'Ye is set to revive his axed "Saint Pablo" tour after being hospitalized back in November due to exhaustion. "Kanye wants to finish the tour. He loves his show, and he wants everyone in the world to see it," the source said. The source added that Kanye has a few "surprise projects coming up that involves music and concerts in the spring and summer," and he is currently working on his fashion line and some collaborations.

However, the 39-year-old rapper is keeping his family first while quietly putting together some new music. "His kids are his number one priority for him and he wants to be a good dad and make his mother proud," the insider said. "He thinks about her every day." The source went on saying that the rapper's mental state had improved and he was "feeling more track" as he worked on several business opportunities away from the public eye.

Late last month, 'Ye linked up with G.O.O.D. Music protege Tyga for a collaborative track titled "Feel Me". Both rappers name-checked Tyga's girlfriend Kylie Jenner and Kanye's wife Kim Kardashian on the song, which was released at midnight on New Year's Eve.
