Has Prince Harry gotten Meghan Markle's dad stamp of approval to marry her? Rumor has it, the 32-year-old royal prince has met the father of the "Suits" star and asked him for her hand in marriage.

"Harry asked for permission to marry his daughter and daddy said yes," sources tell Naughty Gossip, "He is in love and a gentleman. He wanted to get dads permission before he proposed."

According to Meghan's older half-brother Thomas Markle Jr., Harry first met their father during one of his visits to Toronto, Canada before their relationship was public knowledge. He wasn't sure if Harry had met his stepmother Doria.

"My dad knew about [the relationship] from the start," Thomas told Daily Mail, "He first met Prince Harry about six months ago out in Toronto. He goes once every couple of months - [Meghan and Thomas Markle Sr] are very close and they stay in close contact. He's pretty happy about Harry and he's extremely proud of her [Markle]. They have an amazing relationship, they're very close and they always have been."

He added, "They're extremely happy together, they look great together and she's done good. She's very much in love and she's obviously happy because if she wasn't happy, she wouldn't be there. So she is happy and [the relationship is] taking off, which is good, and I wish them all the best. I couldn't be happier for her. I think it is wonderful. As long as he takes care of and loves Meg, he doesn't have to do anything else - although I would like to shake his hand and meet him."
