A private text message the 'TiK ToK' hitmaker sent to the 'Million Reasons' songstress in April 2016 was added as evidence in her ongoing sexual assault case against Luke earlier this year.

Katy Perry and Lady GaGa have been dragged into Kesha's, formerly Ke$ha, ongoing sexual assault case against Dr. Luke. A private text message the "TiK ToK" hitmaker sent to the "Million Reasons" songstress in April 2016 was added as evidence earlier this year and a judge has given Luke the green light to show the message to Perry and GaGa.
The evidence was presented as part of a hearing on December 26 in New York, when both parties tried to decide which documents and records they will exchange with one another, according to Daily Mail. The contents of the text message has been sealed by the judge.
Back in 2014, Luke sued Kesha's lawyer after the lawyer claimed on social media that the music producer raped GaGa. Both Luke and GaGa denied the allegation, but she later spoke out in support of Kesha.
"I feel like she's being very publicly shamed for something that happens in the music industry all the time, to women and men," the "Perfect Illusion" singer said, "I just want to stand by her side because I can't watch another woman that went through what I've been through suffer."
Perry, meanwhile, has not publicly commented on the ongoing legal battle between Kesha and Luke. It's unknown why or how the "Rise" hitmaker is related.
