Ryan Reynolds wants a crossover between "Deadpool" and "Wolverine" to happen. In a recent interview, the Merc with a Mouth depicter revealed his desire to unite the funny anti-hero with the clawed mutant in a team-up movie, with Hugh Jackman reprising his role as Wolverine.
"I want Deapdool and Wolverine in a movie together," Reynolds told Entertainment Weekly. "What we're gonna have to do is convince Hugh. If anything, I'm going to need to do what I can to get my internet friends back on board to help rally another cause down the line."
"Hugh Jackman is one of the best human beings," the 40-year-old actor added. "Part of the reason I want to do a Deadpool/Wolverine movie is not just because I think the two would light the screen on fire but I genuinely love the guy."
However, the possibility of a crossover to happen is very low as Jackman has confirmed that "Logan", which will arrive in U.S. theaters next year on March 3, will mark his last appearance as the clawed mutant. The Australian actor is ready to put his claws behind, as he said back in 2014, "If I did another one I'm 99.9 percent sure it would be the last."
