The 'Sully' actor sends a fan a very special gift as a thank you for giving him a sketchbook that contains drawings of all his movie roles.

AceShowbiz - Tom Hanks has sent a very special gift to one of his fans. He gave an artist named Denise Esposito a typewriter from his personal collection. "I just got this from @tomhanks !! How amazing life is when your fav actor sends you a #typewriter and a thank you letter? I'm speechless..," she tweeted.

Back in October, Esposito gave the "Sully" actor a sketchbook that contained drawings of every character he once played in movies. As an added bonus, a typewriter was sketched on the last page as a reference to the actor's love for manual typewriter.

She did the sketches after learning that she was sent to Rome Film Festival where she could meet her idol. She gave the book to his publicist in hopes it would reach him, and it did. The actor was so impressed that he thanked her in person.

"Dreams come true! Thank you @tomhanks for being such a wonderful guy! Here's what he called 'the proof for the internet!' #tomhanks #omg #imcrying," she wrote. "Tom Hanks is my favorite actor, as a big fan I wanted to make a special gift for him. It took me 3 weeks of hard work, but it was totally worth it!"

Hanks promised to send her a typewriter in return, and he kept his word. "For your lovely sketches of--all--those movies, here is a typewriter to do with whatever you need...Make more art! And many thanks...," the 60-year-old star said in his thank-you note.
