It was almost a year ago when people started to speculate whether Avril Lavigne and Ryan Cabrera were dating after the two were spotted out and about together. On Monday, November 14, the two singers, who have known each other for 12 years, only added fuel to the rumors as they reportedly had a romantic date.

According to E! News, they were spotted "snuggling up" at Chalk Point Kitchen in New York City. An insider says, "Avril was extremely affectionate to Ryan, giving him cute hugs in the booth and kisses. They seemed in love."

"They were drinking white wine. It seemed like they were just enjoying the night not getting out of hand or anything. It was very laid back evening. They had appetizers and dinner. Some plates included Fluke and Halibut," the insider details the alleged couple's date night.

"A bit later in the evening a man and woman joined them at the booth, and then another man came down to say hi to them," the insider further adds. "They were really friendly to everyone. Ryan was very bubbly and sweet to all the wait staff."

Last year, Avril was reportedly spending so much time together with Ryan because she had offered him a room in her home to stay following his split from Katie Krause. The 32-year-old songstress was previously married to Deryck Whibley from 2006 until 2010. In 2013, she married Chad Kroeger, but they separated in 2015.
