'Andromeda' and 'Continuum' alum Lexa Doig is cast as Ra's al Ghul's other daughter for season 5.

AceShowbiz - A classic Batman villain is coming to Star City. "Arrow" has tapped Canadian actress Lexa Doig, who is best known for her portrayal of the title character on 2000-2005's TV series "Andromeda", to play Talia al Ghul in season 5.

Talia is the daughter of the late Ra's al Ghul (Matt Nable) and the half-sister of Nyssa (Katrina Law). Described as worldly and cultured, she is an elite warrior who doesn't pick sides but rather creates her own. The role is billed as a recurring one. The character will first appear in episode 10.

Doig's other credits include Canadian sci-fi series "Continuum", "Jason X", "Stargate SG-1" and "Saving Hope" among others.

"Arrow" airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on The CW. In next week's episode, "So It Begins", Prometheus ups his killing spree and Oliver searches for connections between the victims. Felicity and Curtis discover the victims have a mysterious link to Oliver's past and this new secret could upend his new team.

Meanwhile, Thea has a heart-to-heart with Lance, and Felicity considers telling Malone (guest star Tyler Ritter) the truth about her work.
