Hiring the Sorcerer Supreme to a children's birthday party, Jimmy Kimmel complains that Cumberbatch's alter ego doesn't live up to his title as the 'Mightiest Magician in the Cosmos' on his profile.

Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange may be able to charm moviegoers, but his magic doesn't work on children. The Sorcerer Supreme disappointed Jimmy Kimmel who invited him to a children's birthday party hosted by the comedian in a sketch which aired on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Thursday night, October 20.

"Show me the demons," Doctor Strange asked Kimmel, after arriving 30 minutes late. Upon seeing the kids screaming and running uncontrollably in the room, Doctor Strange asked again, "I don't understand - are they possessed?" Kimmel responded, "Basically. They ate, like, 50 cupcakes."

Instead of calming them down, Doctor Strange said, "All right, I'll vanquish them," before Kimmel stopped him. "Just pull a rabbit out of somewhere, do tricks," the late-night show host suggested. "I think there's a misunderstanding. I don't do tricks," Cumberbatch's Strange protested.

"This clearly says 'The Mightiest Magician in the Cosmos'," Kimmel said, while showing Strange's profile on social media. Kimmel was about to send Strange home and hire someone else, before Strange offered his service for $150.

He tried to entertain the kids by making stuff from balloons, but a boy called him "suck" and Strange couldn't help making the kid disappear.

Cumberbatch's movie "Doctor Strange" hits theaters across the nation on November 4. The funny segment aired on "JKL" the same day he attended the world premiere of the Marvel film at the TCL Chinese Theatres in California.
