The Canadian pop superstar was driving past a school in Highgate, North London ahead of his concert at O2 Arena when he decided to surprise the students who were in the middle of a soccer game.

Justin Bieber went back to school when he was in London for his ongoing "Purpose World Tour". Ahead of his show at the city's O2 arena, the Canadian heartthrob spent his downtime joining some lucky boys for a soccer game earlier this week.
Bieber was driving past a school in Highgate, North London when he saw the students in the P.E. session. "Justin and his manager came over to speak with us - I recognized him straight away. They had been driving past and seen our lesson going on," teacher Mario Noto recalled.
"They explained Justin was in town for his shows at the O2, that he enjoys his football, and would love to join in," he continued. "We thought this would be a great experience for the pupils. He was very down to earth and could have been another pupil, just enjoying himself, and spent about half an hour with us. He asked me to go in goal for a few penalties - and turned out to be pretty good!"
During his surprise visit, Bieber also took time to snap some pictures with the students. Donning a bright green vest and holding a soccer ball, he smiled at the camera while surrounded by a bunch of boys who mostly sported red uniforms.

The photos were posted on the school's Twitter account along with the caption, "Look who turned up today for Senior Football! @highgate1565 met @justinbieber #JustinBieber #HighgateFootball #FieldofDreams."
Reacting to the images, other students shared their excitement on the social media. "I'm screaming JUSTIN BIEBER just turned up + played football with all my mates. Why is he here and why did he want to play with us," one student tweeted. Some others, meanwhile, doubted the photos' authenticity. "Sorry why was Justin Bieber playing football at highgate is this real?" another Twitter user asked.
