The end of the Millers' "terrifying nightmare" is the beginning of another mystery on "American Horror Story: Roanoke". The latest episode that aired Wednesday, October 12 finally featured Evan Peters, who played Dandy Mott's (Finn Wittrock) ancestor Edward Philippe Mott.

[SPOILER ALERT!] Historian Doris Kearns Goodwin told "My Roanoke Nightmare" producers that Mott built the mansion on Sappony Road. He, of course, angered the Butcher and was burned alive. His ghost later helped the Millers escape the house through his underground tunnels.

But the Millers were later abducted by their cannibal neighbors, the Polks, who were feeding on Elias. Shelby, Matt and Flora were then delivered to the Butcher, but Ambrose thought that it was too far, so he threw himself and his mother into the fire. Mott then reappeared to cut them loose and Lee arrived just in time to save her daughter and drive them back to safety.

"We were lucky to be alive," said Lily Rabe's Shelby. "I'm just grateful that I will never have to see that god awful place again." She added, "We escaped with our lives that night, but I never completely got over it. I'm not sure I ever will."

But as you can guess following Ryan Murphy's recent tease, this only set the stage for the game-changing twist in next week's episode. A preview for Chapter 6 highlights Cheyenne Jackson's character, a producer of "My Roanoke Nightmare", who takes us behind the scenes of the making of the fake documentary.

"The camera never stops, no matter what anybody says even I tell you to stop you keep rolling, got it?" he tells his crew. Tune into the new episode that airs Wednesday, October 19 at 10 P.M. on FX to find out more surprising twists on the show.
