The brand new sneak peek may have just changed a few fan theories on all the damage Negan unleashes on Rick Grimes and his group.

AceShowbiz - The brand new sneak peek for "The Walking Dead" season 7 was released during the New York Comic Con on Saturday, October 8. The new trailer may have just changed a few fan theories on who Negan killed of Rick's group.

Titled "Right Hand Man", the intense video begins immediately after Negan killed a member of Rick's group. Rick is devastated after the murder and Negan tells him, "What? Was the joke that bad?" Rick replies, "I'm going to kill you." Negan kneels down and asks, "What? I didn't quite catch that you're gonna have to speak up." Rick says, "Not today. Not tomorrow. But I'm going to kill you."

Rick has blood on the right side of his face while Negan's bat is still dropping with the blood of someone.

"Jesus... Simon, what did he have, a knife?" asks Negan, to which Simon replies, "He had a hatchet." "Simon's my right hand man," Negan says, "You have one? Maybe one of these fine people still breathing or did I [knock sound with the bat in front of him]? Sure, yeah, give me his axe." Simon hands the hatchet to Negan before he puts the hatchet into his belt and yanks Rick into the RV.

So who Negan killed? An eagle-eyed fan notices something on the ground in the bloody mess, at the end of the video, which appears to be an engagement ring like the one Maggie is wearing. A blanket, which looks like the blanket Daryl was wrapped in, is also seen lying on the ground.

During the NYCC panel, Lauren Cohan said of the season 7 premiere, "It's so unexpected, jarring and destabilizing in a way we've never had. The story that comes from this year is insane, we were completely knocked off our feet, literally. We'll see how people deal with what they could and should and would have done as we go through."

Executive Producer Greg Nicotero added, "Every season, the premiere has a very different tone. Because everybody knows how the season ended last year and that someone's gonna go, it was more of a challenge going into it and knowing what people are going to expect...There are some unbelievable moments that come out of the fog and the haze of the post traumatic stress after that moment. When we were finished, it took me a few weeks to recover from it."

The seventh season of "The Walking Dead" premieres on Sunday, October 23 at 9 P.M. on AMC.
