Watch Mike Colter's title character as he reluctantly uses his newfound power to protect people in Harlem from bad guys.

AceShowbiz - Netflix has dropped another trailer for its new series "Luke Cage" ahead of its September 30 release. The video highlights the villainous Cornell "Cottonmouth" Stokes (Mahershala Ali a.k.a. Mahershalalhashbaz Ali) and his ambition to rule Harlem. "This place is my reputation, my legacy, my blood. And when the smoke clears, I promise you, Imma be the king," Stokes says at the beginning of the video.

Meanwhile, a new hero is born as Mike Colter's title character is left unscathed after what appears to be a gunfight. Simone Missick's Misty Knight and Rosario Dawson's Claire Temple try to convince him that the city needs him, but Luke has no intention to be a hero.

The action scenes aside, the trailer reveals Stan Lee's cameo as well as a surprise appearance by Ice Cube, who apparently plays Luke's old friend.

The third Marvel-Netflix series after "Daredevil" and "Marvel's Jessica Jones", "Luke Cage" follows the titular character who, after a sabotaged experiment, has super strength and unbreakable skin. He becomes a fugitive trying to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City.

It also features Alfre Woodard as politician Mariah Dillard, Sonia Braga as Claire's mom Soledad, Theo Rossi as career criminal/Luke Cage nemesis Shades, and Frank Whaley as Detective Scarfe.
