The Canadian rapper released the 20-minute film, inspired by his latest album 'Views', as an Apple Music exclusive on early Monday.

AceShowbiz - Drake has released his new short film "Please Forgive Me". Initially scheduled to arrive on September 30, the 23-minute film directed by Anthony Mandler has been made available for viewing pleasure via Apple Music since Monday, September 26 at 1 A.M. EST.

Starring Drake in the lead role, the short film is said to be inspired by the Canadian star's fourth studio album "Views" which was released on April 29. The short film includes seven songs from the album, with original music from Noah "40" Shebib.

The action-packed short film depicts violence and features the "Hotline Bling" hitmaker in some steamy scenes with a sexy lady. Filmed in a single week in Soweto township in Johannesburg, South Africa last July, it also serves as visuals for Drake's songs off "Views" which haven't got an accompanying music video, such as "Pop Style", "Controlla", "Too Good" and "One Dance".

Drake's previous short film was "Jungle" which was released in 2015. The 15-minute clip found the 29-year-old star pondering the price of fame and the point of life. The new short film, "Please Forgive Me", is expected to boast the sales of his latest album "Views", which recently reclaimed the top spot on Billboard 200 after a seven-week break from the top slot.
