During Twitter exchange with her followers, the 'Rise' hitmaker hints that she will go touring next year.

AceShowbiz - Katy Perry hinted at possible 2017 tour during Twitter exchange with her followers on Sunday, September 18. A hater told Katy that her Olympics anthem "Rise" "flopped" and her career in music was "over."

Katy fired back at the hater with a kiss emoji and promised she would see the person at her show next year. "@godneybjs see you at my show 2K17," the "This Is How We Do It" singer wrote.

Katy is currently working on her fifth studio album. On September 16, the "Teenage Dream" songstress posted another fishy tweet to hint at her new music. "Secret hipster but generally a voice of the gp," she tweeted, before adding, "When you write such a fire lyric that you give yourself hives."

Katy's manager previously confirmed that her upcoming album would be released before the end of 2016. Rumor has it, the record is coming in October or November.

In a recent interview with Elvis Duran, the "Roar" hitmaker said of the album making, "I'm just deep in the writing process. It takes a bit of time for me to [write] because I have to have those experiences and then write about them. I have to digest what I'm seeing and recycle it and give my perspective on it."

"I'm working with a lot of unexpected writers and producers and ... that's bringing out a lot of different things sonically," she continued, "Even when I was working with my go-to producers, I'd always push them to play me a beat that was reserved for Three 6 Mafia or something like that ... I know exactly how to write a lyric over that because my strengths are melody and lyrics. I'm putting myself in unexpected situations and that is breeding a lot of new color."
