The story of Jessica Blue continues with the 'Deception' music video which sees her continuing to second-guess herself and eventually confiding in her grandmother.

Christina Grimmie's third posthumous music video arrives for viewing pleasure. The clip is to support her song "Deception" from four-song mini album "Side A". It's also the continuation of "The Ballad of Jessica Blue", a short movie project she filmed before her tragic death.
The story follows a young girl who is at a crossroads in her life. She is torn between boyfriend issues, her creative issues and a general feeling of self-doubt. As she feels like losing battle, she turns to her grandmother for advice and she is reminded of how beautiful and strong she is.
"It just feels like I'm losing my opportunities and my best friends," she tells her elderly relative while footage of her struggling in studio is shown. "See that girl," her grandma responds while gesturing to her reflection in the mirror. "She is beautiful, no matter what."
