AceShowbiz - Nick Cannon is heading back to school. The "Looking for a Dream" rapper, who graduated from Spring Valley, California's Monte Vista High School in 1998, has enrolled as a full-time student at Howard University in Washington, D.C. and is planning to graduate with the class of 2020.
Nick shared on Instagram on Saturday, August 20 a photo of him by the school's entrance wearing a brown bomber jacket, faded jeans, Timberland boots and carrying a backpack. "YOU KNOW!!!!! #HU2020 My First Day as a Freshman!!! Howard University Class of 2020," the "America's Got Talent" host wrote alongside the snap.
On Monday, Nick posted a photo of him aboard the plane. "Turning these Airplanes into School Buses! #FirstDayWave #BeNcredible," he captioned it.
The "If I Was Your Man" crooner followed it up with some quotes about education from Benjamin Franklin, Nelson Mandela and more.
Fans on Twitter are reacting to Nick's decision to get back to school with "Drumline" jokes.
