FX keeps teasing fans with a teaser poster for the upcoming season of the horror anthology series featuring what looks like an evil monster.

A new promo art has been released for "American Horror Story" season 6 to hype up the show's return. The teaser poster that makes its way out via EW shows a horned creature with black background, giving a sense that this evil-looking monster will be a villain in the upcoming season.

"AHS" has dropped a bunch of promos and one of them suggested that all six seasons are connected, which was in line with what series co-creator Ryan Murphy said at Paleyfest earlier this year. "The deeper that we go into the series - hopefully we'll last decades and decades - you will see that there's a definite universe and all the worlds are collided, sometimes in a very bizarre, interesting way. You will be seeing more and more of that as we go along," he said back then.

However, the theme and details of the sixth season are still kept under wraps. "Every year, we've basically laid out the themes, the new genre that Ryan's going to be approaching, and we just thought [this year] it'd be really fun to keep it a mystery," FX CEO John Landgraf said at the TCA summer press tour. So they made some promos, "and a lot of them are accurate. The others are all misdirects," Landgraf added.

The new season will premiere September 14 at 10 P.M. ET on FX. Lady GaGa, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson and Cheyenne Jackson are set to return.
