Despite fan theories, the 'Shake It Off' hitmaker, who's been releasing new album every October or November for almost a decade, isn't back with new music this fall.

Taylor Swift is not releasing new album this fall despite reports. According to CEO of Taylor's label Big Machine Records, Scott Borchetta, the "Shake It Off" hitmaker's album cycle is about to change for the first time since 2006.

While responding to a since-deleted fan question on Twitter, Scott denies Taylor's new album will arrive this year. "This account is telling people that Taylor's new album is coming out in October, please settle this," a fan tweeted to Scott on Monday, August, 8 along with a link to an Instagram account claiming to know the release date for Taylor's new album. On Tuesday, Scott swiftly shut down the idea, writing, "NOPE."

If Scott is right, Taylor's pattern of releasing an album every other fall would be over. The "Out of the Woods" singer released her debut album "Taylor Swift" on October 24, 2006, "Fearless" on November 11, 2008, "Speak Now" on October 25, 2010, "Red" on Oct 22, 2012 and "1989" on October 27, 2014.

Recently, Taylor was officially credited on ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris and Rihanna's song "This Is What You Came For". Rumor has it, the "Bad Blood" songstress is readying a breakup song about Calvin and a diss track in response to Kanye West's "Famous".
