Beyonce Knowles will reportedly perform at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards. The "Formation" singer is the leading nominee for this year's VMAs, earning 11 nominations for her latest album "Lemonade".

According to a fan page on Twitter, Beyonce will have a special stage performance at the upcoming VMAs. "Beyonce will be giving a very special performance at the VMA's. DONT MISS IT!" the Beyhive writes, "We wouldn't make such bold statements without 100|percent| confirmation, dont doubt us."

Beyonce is currently on "The Formation World Tour" in support of her sixth studio album. The "Run the World" songstress only has one show scheduled for next month. She is slated to perform at Barcelona's Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys on August 3 before continuing her North American leg in September. That means she would have time to perform at the VMAs.

The annual music award show will air live from New York's Madison Square Garden on Sunday, August 28 at 9 P.M. ET.
