Insiders reveal that the "Dope" star will portray the tough journalist and love interest of Miller's Barry Allen a.k.a. The Flash.

Clemons reunites with "Dope" director Rick Famuyiwa in the upcoming movie. She previously appeared in "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising" alongside Chloe Moretz. She can next be seen in "Little Bitches" and "Flatliners". Rumor has it, the 22-year-old actress will make her debut as Iris West in Zack Snyder's upcoming "Justice League", which is currently being filmed in London.

Famuyiwa will direct the solo film from a screenplay written by Seth Grahame-Smith, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. The filming of "The Flash" is expected to begin sometime this year. Geoff Johns is attached to produce the film along with Alex Gartner, Dan Mazer and Charles Roven. "The Flash" will hit U.S. theaters on March 16, 2018.
