Bleecker Street has released the first trailer for "Anthropoid". The approximately two-and-a-half-minute video gives a first look at two soldiers from the Czechoslovakian army-in-exile, Jan Kubis (Jamie Dornan) and Josef Gabcik (Cillian Murphy).

The trailer opens with Kubis and Gabcik meeting two ladies, played by Charlotte Le Bon and Anna Geislerova, at a party full of Nazis. "This is not some games," Gabcik explains to his colleagues, "Once you get noticed, and then gets us noticed. Us being noticed gets us all shot."

Kubis and Gabcik then meet Jan Zelenka-Hajsky (Toby Jones) who asks them about their mission. "Operation Anthropoid," Josef explains, "We are here to assassinate Reinhard Heydrich."

"Gentlemen, this operation will involve almost everyone that we have left in the resistance," Hajsky tells Kubis and Gabcik, "If you're arrested, there will be no escape. If we fail, I fear freedom will be wiped from the map." The tagline reads, "Resistance has a code name."

Directed by Sean Ellis, "Anthropoid" is based on the true story of a Czechoslovakian anti-facist operation during World War II. The film will open the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival on July 1 before hitting U.S. theaters on August 12.
