Lamont Richmond, who took credit for fighting Justin, is now claiming that he's not the guy who took down the singer.

AceShowbiz - The man who took credit for taking down Justin Bieber is now claiming that he's not the guy who fought the 22-year-old singer. According to TMZ, Lamont Richmond said that he lied about the whole thing after he received death threats from Beliebers.

Previously, Lamont took to Snapchat to share a video in which he explained how the drama went down. "Yo check, fool ran up on me. I was with the girls and we just asked him for an autograph. I don't know about all the other stuff y'all are talking about. I got nothing else to say," he said in the clip.

Lamont said that he saw the "What Do You Mean" singer outside the Westin in Cleveland. He then asked The Biebs if his girl friends could take a pic and got the singer's autographs. Things escalated quickly when Justin answered, "No autographs tonight, motherf****r," and the two suddenly engaged in a fist fight.

Despite what he previously explained, Lamont later clarified that he's not the guy who tackled Justin to the ground in the viral video. TMZ also reported that Lamont got fired from his job after the incident.

In addition to Beliebers, Justin got support from Chris Brown. A source close to the "Run It!" singer told HollywoodLife.com, "While Chris isn't about the violence, he supports his little bro Justin. Chris knows firsthand how fans can become too aggressive and too in-your-face, and he believes Justin was provoked and forced to defend himself."

"Being a celebrity isn't all it's cracked up to be. People think they own you and have the right to invade your privacy. Chris just wants Justin to quit all the fighting. It's not good for his image and violence is never the answer," the insider added.
