The 'Cafe Society' actress says 'everyone did not boo' after her movie got lukewarm response at the international film festival in France.

Kristen Stewart is undeterred by the harsh critics at the Cannes International Film Festival. Her film "Personal Shopper" was met with jeers from the crowd at the Palais des Festivals during the screening but she just shrugged it off. "Hey, everyone did not boo," she tells Variety.

Writer/director Olivier Assayas chimes in, "When you come to Cannes, you're prepared. You're prepared for anything. Movies have a life of their own ... people have expectations of a film and then the film is something else." He adds, "It happens to me once in a while where people just don't get the ending."

Besides bringing "Personal Shopper" to Cannes, Kristen Stewart premiered her other movie "Cafe Society" at the event. Coming from writer/director Woody Allen, it was picked to kick off the festival. Last week, she was joined by Blake Lively and Jesse Eisenberg at the screening.
