Justin Bieber is being sued by Team Productions over a broken contract and a disparaging tweet regarding a canceled appearance in August 2015, according to TMZ. The lawsuit comes just two weeks after Justin was sued for $100,000 for allegedly destroying a man's cell phone at night club.

Team Productions says Justin was the one who initially broke the deal. The "What Do You Mean" hitmaker backed out from his appearance at Beach Club in Montreal after being paid his initial payment of $250,000. The event was scrapped.

Team Productions says in its lawsuit that it promised another $175,000 right before the event, but Justin didn't follow the contract which required him to promote the gig on social media. According to the event promoter, the "Baby" singer demanded the company pay the rest of the money or he wouldn't show.

However, because Justin didn't promote the gig on the social media, Team Productions wanted a discount. Their negotiations later failed and led the "Sorry" crooner to announce on Twitter that he would be bagging out because the promoter lied.

Justin tweeted at the time, "Montreal due to the promoter of today's event breaking his contract and lying I will not be able to attend today's event. I'm sorry. I look forward to coming back to Montreal in the future to do a proper show but I will not be able to attend 2day due to this breach. Thanks."

Sources close to Justin tell TMZ that Team Productions didn't have the balance of $175,000 when it came time to pay. The promoter, meanwhile, claims that it had the money but just wanted to cut the rate.

Team Productions says the company has been negatively affected as it's been branded a liar and no one wants to work with them following the incident. It is seeking at least $650,000 in damages.

Justin's rep hasn't commented on the issue yet.
