The untitled Booster Gold/Blue Beetle Movie which was first announced in September 2015 has started to move forward. However, the project is no longer proposed as "superhero buddy cop movie" and would entirely focus on Booster Gold.

The writer himself hinted in a recent podcast that he was writing a secret project for DC Comics and Warner Bros. "The Incredible Hulk" scribe Zak Penn was previously linked to the project but that apparently did not happen.
