Jack Black is in negotiations for "Jumanji" remake "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle", TheWrap reports. He is expected to join "Central Intelligence" duo Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Kevin Hart for the new take on the 1995 adventure fantasy movie.

Jake Kasdan is set to sit behind the lens for the new adaptation of Chris Van Allsburg's 1981 book. The reboot due Stateside on July 28, 2017 will be a reunion between Black and Kasdan after their 2000 comedy "Orange County".

The Rock recently said, "I'm feelin' good and confident stepping into these shoes as a producer as well as actor to bring you something great that you and your entire fam can enjoy. An important thing that I want to be honest and bring up is Robin Williams."
