Britney Spears took to Instagram on Monday, May 9 to give her fans a first look at her new mobile game "Britney Spears: American Dream". The "Baby One More Time" hitmaker posted a photo of her avatar along with caption, "Coming soon..."
Britney's avatar donned a plunging suit with a glittery top paired with black pointy heels. She wore black eyeliner and brown lipstick with her blonde locks styled in elegant waves. It looks pretty similar with Kim Kardashian's game "Kim Kardashian: Hollywood".
While "Britney Spears: American Dream" does not have an official release date yet, fans have been encouraged to pre-register by May 16. It's likely to follow the format of previous games released by Glu Games, including Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner's "Kendall and Kylie", and consist of a free download with in-app purchases.
In "American Dream", players will follow a quest to pop stardom which will see them sing backup for Britney, compete against other singers, wear some of Britney's most famous outfits and record singles.
Will Britney's game follow in the success of Kim Kardashian's? "Kim Kardashian: Hollywood" made $1.6 million in the first five days after it was released in June 2014, and it had raked in $43.4 million by the end of its first quarter.
