Along with James Corden, the three stars have a discussion about 'Hollaback Girl' before teaming up for a passionate rendition of 'We Are the Champion'.

AceShowbiz - Gwen Stefani is the latest singer helping James Corden get to work. The diva joined the funnyman for a new installment of Carpool Karaoke that aired during "The Late Late Show with James Corden" on Wednesday night, May 4.

The edition opened with the two singing "Don't Speak" by Stefani's band No Doubt. The pair continued with some of her other big hits including "Sweet Escape" and "Rich Girls" from her older albums and "I Used to Love You" from her latest one, "This Is What the Truth Feels Like".

The trip just got more exciting after Corden hit "this HOV four-lane thing where you need four people in the car" and enlisted the help of George Clooney, who then asked Julia Roberts to join the ride too. With two more people in his car, Corden continued driving through Los Angeles with Stefani's "Hollaback Girl" playing on the radio.

After singing along to the 2006 smash, the four discussed the meaning of the song. "Ain't no a 'Hollaback' mean some guys are on a construction site yelling at a girl, she's not gonna turn back, she's not that kind of a girl? Am I close?" Clooney explained.

"I think that's pretty close. It's your interpretation of the song. I don't want to project what I thought onto you," Stefani said in response to the actor's opinion, prompting Clooney to add, "It would help to know what you thought."

During the ride, the quartet also did a passionate cover of Queen's "We Are the Champion" while Stefani acted out any emojis Corden named, including eggplant which is a slang for penis.
